DESCRIPTION:We're doing it again! For the last couple of years we have enjoyed success and strong interest in hosting our pre-Christmas December edition of our monthly Business After 5 in co-operation with SBEC (Small Business Enterprise Centre) and EBRC (Elgin Business Resource Centre).\n\nSBEC and EBRC work closely with new and start-up businesses in our region. Again this year\, they will both name 10 of their favourite/most-promising new ventures to each set-up displays at our event.\n\nWe will be at St. Anne's Centre on Morrison Drive in St. Thomas on Wednesday December 5. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and everyone attending will get to see and explore some innovative and promising new ventures in our community. For existing Chamber Members\, that means at least 20 new contacts and potential clients\; and for our guests displaying their new enterprises they gain an ideal opportunity to connect with a couple of hundred folks from existing businesses and organizations.\n\nJust to keep things interesting\, the Chamber will add some exceptional door prize draws as we reward everyone attending with chances to win in our Twelve Gifts of Christmas door prize draws. Excellent food choices from 3 local foodservice businesses and\, of course\, your favourite refreshments.\n\nAs always\, Business After 5 is FREE to attend for anyone from any business or organization that is a Member of the Chamber\, plus we extend an open opportunity to friends and colleagues of our EBRC and SBEC clients to join in\, too.
