SUMMARY:State of the Municipalities Luncheon 2016
DESCRIPTION:The second year of the municipal council term has begun and we're looking forward to this annual update from the 3 Mayors in St. Thomas\, Central Elgin & Southwold.  Our 6th annual State of the Municipalities Luncheon is Wednesday February 17.St. Thomas Mayor Heather Jackson\, Central Elgin Mayor Dave Marr and Southwold Mayor Grant Jones have confirmed their participation and will bring comments on local plans for the year ahead\, and for the term of their councils.Doors open at 11:30.  Buffet luncheon service will be offered from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Remarks from the Mayors start at 12:15 once the buffet closes. Each Mayor will offer individual comments on plans and activities for the year ahead\, and over the balance of the 4-year term of the councils.  The final portion of the program will be an open question-and-answer session as welcome questions from the floor. Members are also invited to submit questions for each of the Mayors\, or all three\, in advance to the Chamber via email: mail@stthomaschamber.on.ca  Tickets are $32 per person and may be ordered from the Chamber office by phone or email. Reserved seating with single orders of 4 tickets or more.Mark the date and please plan to be with us.
